Sprig

Enterprise survey platform with AI agents that design, field and synthesise studies, plus in-product surveys you can drop into AI-built prototypes. Sales-led pricing and enterprise-only panels make it a poor fit for a solo builder.

Sprig

1. Overview

Sprig (sprig.com) now describes itself as an enterprise survey platform powered by agents: a Design Agent turns a goal or uploaded questions into a study, a Field Agent runs it as an adaptive, chat-style survey, an Analyze Agent picks and runs statistics, and a Synthesize Agent writes the report (Homepage). That is a change of direction. In June 2025 Sprig relaunched as an “experience research platform” covering what users say and do; a June 2026 note on the same post says it has since become an enterprise survey platform (Sprig blog).

The question for this section is whether one builder can check a problem and their success criteria with real users, and no research team. The answer is no. The product is capable, but it is sold and shaped for research organisations, and the parts a solo builder most needs (a published price and an on-demand panel) sit behind sales.

Naming overlaps: “Sprig” is also the name of unrelated consumer brands. This page covers sprig.com and docs.sprig.com only.

Pricing (re-check live): the public pricing page lists a single enterprise platform, priced on response volume, activated capabilities and delivery channels, with onboarding and support included. No figures are published (Pricing). The docs still describe Free, Starter and Enterprise plans, with Free capped at 25 survey responses a month and upgrades by booking a call (Plans and Billing). We could not confirm that a new account can still pick Free or Starter, so treat those as possibly legacy. Panel credit prices: not stated publicly.

2. How it scores on the rubric

CriterionAssessmentEvidence
Time-to-usefulSlow for a newcomer. The website routes to a demo, panels need annually purchased credits, and prototype tests may need support to switch on. For an existing customer, a link survey needs no code and the Design Agent drafts it from a goalPricing, Sprig Panels, Homepage
Fidelity (of evidence)Strong for attitudes, satisfaction and concept preference at volume, with real statistics (crosstabs, t-tests, ANOVA). Weak for behaviour: there is no first-click, navigation or task-success method in the current survey-first productHomepage
Non-engineer usabilityHigh for link surveys and AI-drafted studies. In-product surveys need someone to install the SDK or an HTML snippetDelivering Surveys, Prototype Testing
Design-system / prototype fidelityThe broadest prototype support in this section: Figma, Figma Make, Framer, Lovable, v0 and Vercel, ChatGPT sites and more, if published. You can also install in-product surveys inside Lovable, Claude Artifacts, Figma Make, Replit, v0 or AI Studio prototypesEmbedding Prototypes, Prototype Testing
Human gatesGood. Agents and MCP clients create drafts only; a person launches every study in the Sprig UI. MCP respects each user’s role and admins have an org-wide off switch. Synthesis is editable before sharingMCP Security, Create Surveys with MCP, Homepage
HandoffMCP into Claude, Cursor, Linear, Notion and Figma; Figma describes feeding Sprig results back into Figma Make. A User Interviews integration handles recruiting and incentivesSprig MCP, Sprig and Figma, User Interviews

Fit for this section (verdict: no). Sprig has two ideas this section is built around: surveys that live inside an AI-built prototype, and an MCP loop where results feed the next Figma Make iteration with a human launching every study. But the section asks whether one builder can test a problem and a success criterion this week without a research team or a sales call. Sprig’s own pricing page says it is built for research run “across multiple teams”, panels are Enterprise-only, and a newcomer cannot see a price. A solo builder gets the same loop faster from Lyssna or Maze. Revisit if Sprig publishes a self-serve tier again.

4. FAQ

Can a solo builder validate a problem with Sprig and no research team?

Not easily. Sprig is sold as an enterprise platform with no published price, and its panel is Enterprise-only (Pricing, Sprig Panels).

How much does Sprig cost?

Sprig does not publish prices. Cost depends on response volume, the capabilities you switch on and delivery channels (Pricing). The docs still mention Free and Starter plans, but we could not confirm new accounts can choose them (Plans and Billing).

Does Sprig still do session replays and heatmaps?

Its docs still list replay clips and heatmap captures in plan limits, but the current website positions Sprig as a survey platform and does not feature them (Plans and Billing, Homepage). Check with Sprig before buying for behaviour analytics.

Can Sprig test Lovable, v0 or Figma Make prototypes?

Yes. Published prototype URLs from those tools can be embedded beside survey questions, and Sprig in-product surveys can be installed inside them with an HTML snippet or npm (Embedding Prototypes, Prototype Testing).

Can an AI agent launch a Sprig study on its own?

No. Through MCP an assistant can read studies, responses and themes and create drafts, but launching happens only in the Sprig UI (MCP Security).

Where do Sprig participants come from?

Your own users through links, email or the in-product SDK; Sprig Panels on Enterprise; or User Interviews through an integration (Delivering Surveys, Sprig Panels, User Interviews).

Is there an affiliate programme?

No public affiliate programme was found. A customer referral programme pays existing customers a $250 gift card per qualified meeting with a US company of 150+ staff, and a partner programme is aimed at agencies and integrators (Referral program, Partner Program). Neither is an affiliate programme, and this site has not joined one.
